Roots in Etna, origins in Franciacorta

From lake Iseo and its morenic hills, to the Mediterrenean Sea and volcanic soil.

 

Elisabetta is a woman who believes in fulfilling her dreams. In Franciacorta, where she was born, she had fallen in love with a Pinot Nero vineyard in Provaglio d'Iseo, which gave birth to the production of organic Franciacorta, naming the winery by her own name:
Abrami Elisabetta.

 

Strengthened by this experience and thanks to the meeting with the Urzì family, family that carries the seafaring nature of children of the Gulf of Etna, that"Sciare dell'Alba" was born: our story is a tale of a territory where Earth and Sea find their synthesis in the essence of the Volcano itself.

Sciare dell'Alba 

Sciàre dell'Alba is made up of two words, "Sciàra" and "Alba".

"Sciàra", which combines the Arabic etymology of "ša῾ra" for uncultivated land with the Latin etymology of flagrare "to burn", indicates the accumulations of volcanic waste: just like our soil, of volcanic origin, mainly sandy, rich in skeleton and organic substance.

"Alba", the moment when night becomes day, east, just like when the Sun rises, it bathes the Ionian Sea and our land, on the eastern side of Etna.
